     My Most Memorable Teacher

Through 12 years of school I've had luck of meeting wonderful teachers. A lot of them helped me out through my school life, from schoolworks to consulting about my future. Among them, the teacher I remember most is my elementary 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Pat Donaldson.

Mrs. Pat Donaldson is the first American teacher I met when I went to USA with my family. For me meeting an american teacher was such an interesting experience ; I still remember the butterflies in my stomach when I first met her. She had short light gray hair with deep dark brown eyes. She wasn't tall; her height were almost similar with me since I was very tall among elementary 2nd graders. When we first met each other at the first day of class she held my hand and led me inside the classroom. Curious eyes, mostly blue eyes of my fellow classmates were rested upon me, looking at me from head to toe. I was so nervous at that time but Mrs. Donaldson warmly took my hands and introduced me to other classmates. From that day, she really put a lot of effort at helping me out to adjust in class. Whenever we had group works among classmates, she made sure that I get to be included with different friends every weeks. In this way I was able to become friends with the whole classmates. Moreover, when it was time for me to do a little talk about myself and my family in front of the class, she made me practice over the little presentation in front of her before hand. After practicing with Mrs. Donaldson I was able to do well in front of the class even though my English wasn't perfect. Mrs. Donaldson also helped me out with other schoolworks if I had any trouble with it. For instance when I was having trouble with making up sentences with different verbs and nouns she skimmed the homework with me whenever she had time. She helped me out so naturally and warmly that I've never felt embarrassed to ask her questions or anything that I was curious of.

It has been almost 13 years passed from the day I've met Mrs. Donaldson. Over the years it was hard to keep contact with her since I was in Korea, and now, I don't even know if she's doing well or not. However, the memories I had with my 2nd grade teacher never fades away. It was always in my memory some place and had cheered me up whenever I thought of my life in USA when I was a kid. I think myself as lucky to have Mrs. Donaldson when I was afraid of new school life in USA and hopes that she's doing really well.

    1. What I like about this piece of writing is how the writer described in full details about the teacher's appearance and her memory with that teacher. It is interesting to read because of how she used descriptive words to decorate the writing.
    2. Your main point seems to be my favorite teacher is elementary 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Pat Donaldson
    3. I liked the sentence "I still remember the butterflies in my stomach when I first met her." because it expresses well of how the writer was nervous the first time she met her.I could think in the writer's shoes.
    4. none.
    5. The one change you can make to better is your introductory paragraph. Your body and conclusion paragraph is interesting. However, the introductory paragraph was too common and dull. You should try to come up with a hook sentence that actually makes the reader want to read more about your essay. I think, this will make your essay much better :)

    1. What I like about this piece of writing is that there are enough stories that enriches your content.

    2. Your main point seems to be your memorable teacher when you had a hard time adapting in a new environment.

    3. "It was always in my memory some place and had cheered me up whenever I thought of my life in USA when I was a kid." was powerful to me because it shows how impressive her memory could be in the States due to her teacher.

    4. x

    5. it would be much better for you to write down your own feelings when it comes to the situation. You could show your gratitude toward your teacher for each situation. For example, when Mrs.Donaldson helped you out doing presentation before the class, you could say like 'I felt so grateful to Mrs.Donaldson when she helped me make a presentation prior to the real one.'

    My Most Memorable Teacher

In my room on top of my desk, I still have a picture I took with my 2nd grade teacher, both wearing a big simle on each faces. Through 12 years of school the teacher I remember most is my elementary 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Pat Donaldson.
