Man's best friend, Mp3
Barry Schwartz says that we live in a world of paradox of choice. There are a variety of options that people can choose conveniently and easily. However, since we are so caught up thinking about our needs and satisfaction, this intensifies the urge to keep pursuing after the bettered options and choices. One major development that we can easily say is technology development. However, among all types of different technologies, I personally think MP3 is the most brilliant invention in my lifetime.
The simple definition of MP3 can be a music player that lets people download favorable music from the internet to listen to it. Nowadays, there are additional options installed on the MP3 which seduces many musical lovers to purchase new editions of MP3. I believe that Mp3 allows people not only to listen to music but also enable us to get away from the reality world mounted with stress. Music helps us to live life with enjoy, and since mp3 allows us to listen to music wherever we are at, this adds more color in to our lives. A lot of songs in different genres conveys different meanings through music and listening to Mp3 often makes us think constantly about different issues and thoughts. For example, whenever I get on the bus and subway to go to school, I would always take my mp3 with me. It helps me relieve from the stress, makes me think about the lyrics of different songs, and enjoy the road toward school. Without Mp3, my life would be dull and uninteresting and I would have to carry a CD player or laptop with me to listen to music. This surely would be uncomfortable to carry around with me all the time.
It is important to appreciate the inventions that we can use in daily life. Therefore, I believe Mp3 is a great invention that has played as a major part as a linkage between the music and the real world. It is obvious that this kind of invention will develop in to a more useful and sophisticated version in the near future. Thus, mp3 has had imfluences in society as a digitial technology and I am excited hoping for a new genius invention that would become one of the attributes for sophisticated society.
