Sooneung-Korean SAT- ceremony
Sooneung-Korean SAT- means a lot to Korean high school students. It's not only the day that choose one student's life but also the last gate of twelve years of school. Accordingly, there's a special tradition to celebrate the Sooneung day among high school students.
In this special ceremony, there are a few steps. First, in the day before Sooneung, school teachers make the list of schools and notice it to every school club. And after school, each club's members go to the school that in their charge and try to get a good place. While doing it, sometimes there is some arguing between two or more schools. Once they get their own position, with big green tapes, mark their spot and stay there until the day of Sooneung. Because the test held in winter, outside is freezing so they prepare blankets and warm beverages or even tents. The long night goes on and finally when the sun rises, students prepare to start cheering. They gather and spread out the plan card that praying for their seniors to take Sooneung well. When seniors start to come to school, they sing a lot of cheer songs very loudly. Some prepare hot teas or Yeot-sort of Korean candy- and chocolates to give it to seniors. After all seniors go inside of test site, every student gathers in front of the gate and bow to show their respect and wish doing well on the exam.
Almost every Korean student suffer very long academic journey during twelve years. They therefore regard taking Sooneung well as very important gate to becoming an adult. This unusual but warm-hearted tradition shows how much Sooneung is important to them.

Most of all will understand this sentence well, but I think that adding the meaning, last gate to enter the university, is more clear to read it.
