New York and San Francisco
When I think of USA, the most two memorable places pop inside my head. The first one is San Francisco, where I lived when I was young, and the other place is New York, where I visited last semester. For me, both places feel quiet similar but also very different. They are similar in some points but also has its unique characteristics inside. Both New York and San Francisco are one of the major cities on both West and East side of USA. These cities are very famous; tourists all over the world travel to these cities. They are one of the main cities that tourists visit when they travel to the West side of the USA or the East side of the USA. In San Francisco there are several famous places and things that the tourists can't miss. Those are the Golden Gate Bridge, the sea gulls, and the bay are famous among tourists for a place or a thing to visit and watch. Similar with San Francisco, New York also has several awesome places where people visiting this place shouldn't miss. For instance, the Empire State Building, the MOMA Art Museum, and the streets of Soho. People visiting New York, just like tourists in San Francisco, find so many things in the city to watch and visit. Both of this cities are also very big. According to the statistics done by infoplease.com, New York and San Francisco are top populated cities among the 50 cities in USA. This means that in these cities many people are living which shows that these are big cities. The big difference among these cities is that one is located on the west side, and the other is located on the east. Therefore, their climates are completely different. In San Francisco it is mostly sunny, only a little bit windy since it is near the sea. People usually wear plain T-shirt inside and wear a light jacket that can be carried on the outside in case the wind blows. In New York, there are 4 semesters; spring, summer, autumn and winter. Unlike San Francisco, people who live in New York experience diverse climates according to the changing seasons. There are other differences too, for instance, New York city has more organized streets and subway stations than San Francisco, where instead of subway beneath the ground, the electric cable cars that move around on the ground are utilized. New York and San Francisco are the two cities that are very attractive among other cities in USA. These cities have its own unique quality that attract many people to come and visit.
